“Trauma happens in isolation, healing happens in relationships.”
Trauma isn’t just what happened—it’s how your body and nervous system adapted in order to survive. It can result from a single overwhelming event or from ongoing experiences like emotional neglect, unsafe relationships, or growing up in an unpredictable environment.
You may find yourself feeling anxious, shut down, disconnected from your body, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you. These are not character flaws—they are adaptive responses your system developed to protect you.
In therapy, we’ll work gently and collaboratively to support your healing. I draw from Somatic Experiencing and parts work (IFS-informed) to help you tune into the body’s innate wisdom, build emotional resilience, and re-establish a sense of internal safety.
Healing from trauma doesn’t mean reliving the past—it means creating new pathways toward regulation, connection, and wholeness. Through trauma therapy, our work together can help you re-connect to your most full, authentic, and empowered self.
